    Little pet peeve of mine, but a 'squib' is failure to ignite, or insufficient ignition of a cartridge.

    A little power ranger punk on a sport bike is a "Squid", which is a phonetic contraction of "squirrely kid", referring to the result of them having more bike than skill.

    Chances are if they look like a power ranger they're probably not a squid. IME most of the time those in full leathers tend to be the more experienced/responsible riders.
