    Default Maxpedition Diaper Bag

So, a good friend of mine, and his wife, are having a girl this summer. For the baby shower I would like to get him a "manly" diaper bag. Anyone have and use these? what size? Input appreciated.

Yup, I have a Maxpedition Versipack, I think. It's perfect. Mine holds all the baby crap plus extra magazines, multi-tool, gps etc. I took it to China to pick up our daughter and all the other dads laughed at me for having a purse. At first. Every day someone would need something they neglected to bring and I'd whip it out of my bag. By the end of the trip I think half of them had ordered one for themselves online.

I have the jumbo and wouldn't go any smaller. The nice thing about a sling bag is it allows you to still have both hands free.

Tool bags come in a variety of manly shapes and sizes and colors. They are generally tough as well as reasonably priced. Check Home Depot and Lowe's type places.

Thanks for the response, Tim, that is what I was curious about.

Sand-not really looking for a tool bag, my buddy is a journeyman carpenter, so I am sure that he has plenty of tool bags. He also CCW's often and I want him to have something that he can actually use after the kid gets big enough to not need a diaper bag anymore. Thanks for the response.

If anyone else has used a max bag for a diaper bag chime on in. Thx.

I also used the Verispak Fatboy. Used it for 2 kids now, and it is awesome. Even if I'm CCW on my waist, the pack covers up any 'extra' bulges quite nicely.

I am expecting baby #2 in a couple of months, and saw a guy last weekend with Maxpedition Versipack. Went home and checked them out, they look like a great solution.

I've been using a Maxpedition Sitka for the past few months. It's just a personal preference over a versipack.
