As they get bigger, you need a bigger bag.

    absolutely not true

I no longer need to carry 40 jars of food, special spoons 4-5 bottles 12 diapers and 4 changes of clothes.

Now a few diapers, a single change of clothes and some wipes.

Sometimes a sippy cup if its a longer trip

    Dudes having baby showers?

Maxpedition has a number of bags that would serve well in the diaper bag roll. I've used the tactical attache for this purpose.

Exactly. Right now I am using a smal camelback pack. Has a few diapers, change of clothes, wipes, some snacks and on longer outings a couple of nalgene kids sized bottles. Works perfect for my 2 boys and I. I used to use a bag but found with 2 little ones a backpack is easier

Tactical diaper changing at its best.

I know Daddies that are better parents than most Mommies.

We stopped using one ever since I left it on the roof of a car and lost it. Someone was nice enough to steal it off the street and leave the baby bottle in the gutter though.

We just started packing more and more clothes, including shoes; and the clothes weren't getting any smaller.

Cycle the clothes on laundry day.
    Keeps them smelling fresh.

A backpack with diapers and butt wipes inside.

    You'll be good to go.
