    Default can you proest carrying your weapon?

    need info...peaceful walk through downtown blazing a rifle on my back and a pistol on my hip....legal?

    Except in Denver, government buildings and schools

    If you do it with a rifle, you'll likely get detained, maybe arrested for disturbing the peace (and let's face it, if you do that, you are either trolling, or in a big enough safety risk you probably shouldn't be walking around in public)

    Though legal under certain parameters, it is a very bad idea. Colorado is a "Shall Issue" State, there are really very few instances where open carry should be considered. Strolling though downtown is not one of those instances.

    Open carrying in Denver is illegal, you will get arrested.
