    Default Sig Mosquito

Anybody got any opinions on the sig mosquito? I heard good and bad things about them. I am thinking of getting one in a couple months. I already have a ruger bull barrel but want a change.

My sister bought a pink one for her first gun, It was OK I guess, Thing would jam up once in a while. For the price I would rather get a buckmark or Ruger honestly

I like it. The DA trigger pull is pretty bad, but if you use the recommended ammo, it functions 100%.

I bought one of these last year and it's a fun plinking gun. I got the digital cammo version and, yes, it likes the recommended ammo and will stovepipe on others. Like Tim said, the trigger pull is pretty crappy but it's not too bad as it as a pretty wide trigger on it so you don't feel it as much as you would a smaller trigger.

    Default Opinions keep them coming

Okay so I am curious… what is the recommended 22 ammo for this gun? Other that, has anybody else had issues or think highly of a differnt 22? Like I said I have a Ruger bull barrel MKII, I love the gun but want a 22 that is smaller and can be put in a backpack for Grouse when I am archery hunting. I have also herad about Walter PPK's.
    Thanks!

I know i'm bringing this back from the dead... but I always find this conversation with the Mosquito. If you want a .22 that will eat anything, this is not the pistol for you. But, the gun has a very nice weight and balance. I use it when introducing a newbe shooter to the sport.. and as long as it's clean, and you shoot CCI mini mag, it will get thru a trip to the range just fine. The factory trigger is AWFUL. But, a visit to BP Tactical solved my issues with that. The trigger is fine now. Thank you very much!

My wife has a pink one and loves it. Run mini mags and keep it clean. Ran 200+ rounds one day and had 3 issues.

I've owned both the mosquito and the Walter p22 and the mosquito much more natural in the hand and was more reliable. With Winchester bulk ammo at least. It is definitely a fun plinker!
