Yes, this is exactly what she eats.

I've owned both the Mosquito & the P22. The Sig feels great in the hand, but I found it extremely frustrating as I could not get through a mag without some kind of failure when using anything but the CCI ammo. I have no use for a gun that likes only one type of ammo. Sold it & never looked back. My P22 on the other hand eats it all up; even the Remington subsonic cycles it. And it is lighter than the Sig. I gave a box of the subsonic to a friend after he picked up a P22 and he had the same result....box of 50 without a failure of any type.

Just my 2 cents, but I would most definitely go with the Walther.

I just picked up a Sig Mosquito. I have tried Winchester expert and Wildcat in it with horrible results. Then I shot the recommended Mini Mag and it worked well. Recently I tried the Federal bulk stuff and it seemed to work well in my pistol. I still get the occasional stove pipe but it is tolerable.

Bought one last year. Really wanted to love it but unfortunately it was the biggest POS I've ever owned. My brother had the same experience and so did two friends. Shame because it fits my hand so well but I know of way too many bad experiences with this pistol to ever buy one again. Sold mine and got a Ruger Mark III which eats everything.

The trigger is somewhat salvagable with some work. Made by Umarex IIRC they are another example an Airsoft gone awry. Entirely too complex of a mechanism to be reliable. You can minimize malfunctions by keeping it impeccably clean.

"I love the gun but want a 22 that is smaller and can be put in a backpack for Grouse when I am archery hunting."

Try using a 22 cal. pump up pellet pistol, very little noise and you get one more before they spook.

I have had both the Sig and the Walther, I still have the P22, small, light and never hangs up.

I have two of these, my buddy has two as well. They all jammed like crazy when we got them didnt matter how clean they were or what ammo they were given.

Took a little 1200 grit lapping compound on the slide and racked it a couple hundred times. Did this to all four of them. Cleaned them up real good to get all the compound off.

These things will eat whatever we feed it now. Lapping these things was the best 20 minutes I ever spent on a gun.
