I purchased a little cap gun, kept it by my window for the little fucker who'd start drumming @ 5:30am, worked pretty well. I then just purchased this Scare Spider and that did the trick. The moment he drums the spider drops and makes noise no more fuckers I mean peckers.

Fake owl in the tree should do it as well.

Your little pecker needs to be shot, its pecking a hole on my house to. I like the idea of wasp spray. Blind the little prick. Missed it with the Judge last weekend.

The bird is just looking for some food. If they're pecking a hole in the same spot, there are insects there for them. If they're making a hole in your house (been there, done that), spray the area with some insecticide to kill the bugs. The birds will leave as soon as the food source dries up.

We tried fake owls; they were no help at all, though I've heard they do work for some.

I have a full auto 6mm airsoft MAC 10 for the annoying critters in my life! Last year I had a bunch of yellow jackets take shelter in a mud wasp nest above my garage. I lite in to it for about 2 or 3 seconds and problem solved!works on pretty much anything in my back yard without killing everything or breaking windows.
