    Fucking amazing

We can't afford to fix the fucking roads around Colorado because the state is broke, but we can send people to college that are ILLEGALS.

I fucking hate these liberal bastards!

It would depend on what order that the actions occurred in. Is it go to college, get a degree on the government's dime and then apply for citizenship, or is it get your citizenship and THEN go to college?

You want to go to college? Fine. Either get your green card and eventually start the final citizenship requirements and go to college on the reduced price or pay out of state tuition like someone from Wyoming. AND, no public money grants or student loans should be given to the illegals to pay for college. You find some private grants or private money to pay the tuition; that's it.

You shouldn't get better treatment at ICE for being a college student; you need to stand in line with the rest of the people looking to do the same thing.

"The bill would cover students who have:

    - Attended a Colorado high school for at least three years
    - Been admitted to a state college within a year of graduation
    - Applied for citizenship"

Its the very beginning of the article. Geeze.

Um, yeah I know. I can read.

My point is, in what order is the process. It only provides for the application for citizenship, not actually doing ANYTHING towards obtaining it. Anyone can fill out a damn application, but there are a number of steps in the process you need to go through to obtain the citizenship. Getting a green card is like step number 4 in the process.

If you aren't required to do more than put in an application, that isn't acceptable.

You do realize if you do not qualify for citizenship and apply you will be deported, right? There's a fee, interviews, investigation, tests, etc in the process of applying for citizenship. You can't just mail in a piece of paper and suddenly get discounted tuition.

The other option is to have a green card and apply, which is also not an easy thing to get.

So you are supporting illegal entry/stay as long as they are trying to be citizens? That describes most of the illegals here right.

I came here through scholarship and had my F1 visa - while spending 6 years of going through CU and DU, I have never had been 'illegal' or out of status. This bill is just an excuse to allow 'the illegals' to go to school w/ subsidized Federal and State fund (in State tuition) as long as they have intention to be citizen one day.

Bulls... I know plenty who came here illegal then apply for political asylum, rejected then go under ground and was never deported. Deportation process takes about 12-14 months from judge ruling of denial to actual removal. Plenty of time to go underground.

To support this bill is to slap those who earn citizenship legally in the face.

I'll say it again: Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented immigrant' is like calling the corner drug dealer an "undocumented pharmacist".

I wonder if we all showed up at Senator Angela Giro's home and took her family back across the border as "Undocumented ICE Agents" if they would see the irony in that.

Stop putting words in my mouth. This is targeted at children who had no choice in emigrating here, obviously.
