Ring of Fire MMA Saturday Night

Anyone else going to this? I am pretty excited for it. The guy who I sit next to at work all day is fighting in it. He goes to work from 6am - 3pm m-f and then trains 3 hours after work. I don't know how he stays sane! His name is Josh Cavan and make sure to root for him if you decide to go. He gives us working folks hope for the future!

duh! he stays sane because he gets to take out all his frustration by beating the crap out of people in the ring~

nice. I may go, provided he's not fighting my son's old Jiu Jitsu teacher Elliot Marshal I'll cheer for him. I played poker at the same table as Nate Marquardt once wouldn't want to meet him in the ring.

He is a local kid who played hockey for CSU. He was the guy that they sent in to take to take out anyone who messed with their goalie. He tried going semi-pro after college but the league he was in folded. His opponent tonight is a guy named Tamboura Gerl. I have read a few pre-fight interviews he has done and he seems like a good guy. If he was fighting anyone else I would probably be rooting for him. It's too bad that he ran into the fastest MMA up-and-commer in Colorado.

they, along with my dad will be down there tonight watching. I would have gone but have to get up at about 330 tomorrow so i didn't want to be out that late.
