So, whoever shoots the string win?
he is planning a different hanging method, I think. I just had baleing string laying around.
but that might be fun.
My idea was to drill a hole in the top of the pin and screw an I-bolt or something in there to tie it off. This works just as well. Thanks for taking the idea from paper to real life.

Great design. You don't mind if I use it do you? I hate setting up pins after shooting them. Is there a way to keep them from swinging uncontrolled?

Use it all you want. I was just bored at work one day and thought of the cheapest, simplest way to keep a pin mounted.
To control swing, you could either make the rope/chain holding it very short, or just drill out the bottom of the pin, and slide the pin down directly onto the rebar. OR, you could put a hook on top of the pin and have two mounting points on the rebar, and one on the pin. Then it would swing instead of twist.
