Default need a recommendation for a windshield shop

I drive a 2006 Jeep Liberty as a work vehicle, and the windshield's shot. Being a corporate vehicle, they want the cheapest price I can find, but I don't have time to search for bargains.

Any suggestions? Anybody here do windshields?

    Thanks!

I worked with Preferred Auto Glass out of Littleton. Ask them for their best cash price.

just had one done by Pioneer Glass in Elizabeth. I'd have them do another.

Does insurance not cover glass in Colorado?

I haven't had to replace a windshield since moving here, but my old policy glass was covered with a zero deductible. I'd replace it every 18 months or so from sand pitting

Yep, glass coverage is cheap and it's great to just call and get a new one installed, have had to do this two times this year already.

Most places have been bought up and are part of Safelite now, just call their 800 number, give them the details of your insurance and they will handle the rest. It's what I do anyway.

If insurance doent cover the glass I've had good success with action auto glass on platte ave. Have sent about 30 clients to them. They have always had the lowest price.

Like I said, it's a corporate fleet vehicle, I don't have any of the insurance info. The fleet manager is in Rochester, NY, he said to just get three quotes and we'd go from there. I've gotten another reco for Action from somebody on the colo4x4 forum, that'll probably be the one. If I get a good price to start with I won't need three quotes. I don't have time for that shit.

preferred is what I used last year. I put a new windshield in my 97 silverado for I think 130 cash.

make sure it is OEM glass. the other stuff chips and cracks much easier.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.
