Any idea how many 10/22's are out there? How many are sold each year? How many I have?

I'd call it ubiquitous but feel that word is an understatement.

The stock is a toy for people who want an assault rifle but don't want to pay for assault rifle ammo. Mall ninjas who have a tight budget.

"Well, like, dood, I knew this guy who knows this guy who knew a guy who got hit with a twennytwo and it killed him! So, like, who wants to buy a gun with bullets that cost more than ten a box? Like I can't even buy a box of twenny and still go to MickyDs on my allowance, dood!" (The preceding transcript contains fewer grammar and spelling errors than the original)

It's not the first one, won't be the last one.

Now the gatling conversion, well, that's not so bad. I'd love to have one if only to set it up somewhere and start cranking until the local cops come sneakin' up because of the reports of machine gun fire. They'd all want a go at it and we'd talk guns and everyone would go away happy except for the gun grabbers, the way life should be.
