I am very curious- given, I like Ruger products, thankfully I have avoided the recall nonsense.
As to the gun- I would be based on how Ruger prices their stuff, this will be a $500-$600 Gun on store shelves, putting it in league with RIA and the Springfield GI. Not bad based on how it looks and the features listed. Secondly, unlike all other 1911s listed at this price point, including the STI Spartan, this one will be made in the US. That has to count for something, maybe everything, for a 1911! Brazil, the Philippines! Seriously?! Its a 1911!
This doesn't look like a match pistol, but for most of the buying public for pistols, working is the only must have feature. I bet this works, if not, drop a wolff spring in it and it will!
