You have some very good points! Don't get me wrong. But when you own your own business like I do!! You know who owes you money, you see whos 30 - 90 days late, you know whos bouncing checks, I hear the same old stories day after day, I know who hes paying in the industry because of credit meatings, and talking to other creditors. I work with people until I can't put up with the lies any more. I watch my bank account very closely and I know when to turn some screws and who to turn them on.

Hell on of my customers that owed me $240,000.00 filed bankruptcy showed up in bankruptcy court in an Armani Suit and had on his $2,000 Rolex watch on and I'm supossed to feel sorry for him?? I Don't Think So!!

or how the donald himself has declared corporate bankruptcy.....3 times!

There seems to be a great need of some local process servers in the area. Not sure if this is do to a lack of them, or for the shittly economy. Seems like someone should start doing this on the side for a small business.

If the member that helped me out doesnt mind, I will glady foward you his info. He's a darn good guy, and gets it done quickly.

wow.. so you judge people all day long and feel good? I eat collection companies for breakfast. Collector/collection companies are the most unethical, unaccurate, and sometimes down right illegal. Most collection debts on credit report is outdated if not accurate. If you have a common name, you should know how collection agencies put collections against a bunch of people w/ the same name and let them sort out the truth later. For smaller debts, many will actually pay just to get rid of the hassle.

I am in the middle of helping a homebuyer w/ a collection agency that have ruined her credit overnight due to her daughter's debt. In short, they slapped a collection notice the moment they know the parents are buying a new home as underwriter will require new collections to be paid off. They have never co-signed or authorized the debt. The collection agency uses the same name (jr and sr) as an excuse of 'error' and have yet removed nor been willing to send us a clarification letter. A bunch of assholes! If the clients lost their earnest money or even chances of purchasing their retirement home - it's court time again! EDIT..oops.. I see others have scolded you too

Anyone who is not part of the claim can do it for you. I have done it few times mostly for small claim court.

Collections showed up to repo the truck from the Base.
The Jag officer knew his Business so well he had the Guy crying as he left Base.

In DSB's defense, he's wasnt a collection agency. He ownes a business that sometimes requires "collection" of debt. As a recently past business owner, i understand what he's refering to. I have knocked on several doors and demanded payment and served them papers on the companies behalf and felt great about doing so. Just did one 3 weeks ago in Boulder County to a Scumbag that owed our company $33,000 and that felt great.
