And the WINNER is...... May 14th!!! Okay mark your calendar Saturday May 14th at Colorado ClaysI'll need a little help organizing the groups when we get there. Please let me know if you've never shot sporting clays before, so we can mix up the groups with experienced shooters. Each group can have up to 6 or 7 shooters anymore than that goes really slow. Bring your lunch and something to drink (no - alcohol until after the shoot). BTW they do have a BBQ there we can use if anyone wants to grill some grub. You'll need to carry all your stuff around the course. I have a baby stroller converted into a gun cart to carry all my shooting bag, ammo, and guns. Try to get there around 9:30 am and sign their waiver form before you shoot. The first half will start no later than 10:00 am. If you’re late you can still catch up to the groups no problem, just grab a score card and come find us. Or hang out and shoot Trap or Skeet until lunch. We take a lunch break then we shoot the Evil Black Shotgun round in the afternoon. You can use any shotgun you have no mater what color or model. Remember everyone needs to bring eye and ear protection (even the non-shooters) also single shot shoguns will not work for sporting clay doubles. Side by sides, over & under Double Barrels, Pumps, and Automatics are the best. “Target shells only” 2 ¾ inch shells with nothing bigger than 7 ½ shot is allowed so, leave the heavy loads at home. I’ll post a reminded when it gets closer to the shoot so start getting ready. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
