    Default Just what we need

I hope this hasn't been posted yet. I checked and didn't find anything. If so my bad.

Anyway, stupid people are making it harder each day for the rest of us. http://xfinity.comcast.net/articles/...on.School.Gun/
"The Second Amendment fails to mention hunting. Highly trained police officers miss with roughly 80 percent of their shots in a gunfight. Get a clue. Your Secret Service officers carry (at least) 30 rounds EACH. Is your life more important to you than mine is to me"?

I've ALWAYS known my dad had guns. I NEVER once got the whim of an idea to take one to school. Or even touch it for that matter. I knew I would get a hellfireshitstorm if I did.

If the gun was taken from home the parents need to be held accountable.
Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.

Just owning a gun doesn't give you brains. People like that drive me nuts. There are ways to educate kids about gun safety long before they fire a shot. I used the NRA Eddie Eagle video with my son when he was really little and showed him how to know the difference between toy guns and the real thing. I also took him to see some re-enactors shooting blanks where they showed the damage a blank could do. By the time he got to Kindergarten he was pretty safe.

Too bad most kids are raised by Hollywood and mass media these days. Their whole concept of gun safety is determined by whatever hyper-violent movie they recently watched. Parents quit parenting long ago.

I want to know how it accidentally went off by dropping it. Guns just don't do that. I know it can happen when all things that could go wrong do, but it isn't normal. I suspect something more happened or it's more media anti-gun sensationalism. Remember, guns are bad...

Same at our house and grandparents house. We knew where they were. We knew they were loaded. We knew we were to NEVER touch them without permission. What has happened?

That bullshit about kids not knowing the difference between right and wrong. Kids know, the mentally disabled do not.

My Grandpa kept a rack full, unlocked, and you're right I never touched them, ever, ever.

We'll probably never find out, what kind of gun it was. I'm curious, because I want to know so I never buy one that fires when dropped.

Hope everyone is ok and the parents get what they deserve.
