    Default Its the little things

Putting my 4 year old to bed. I see a flash through the blinds. I open them to see a thunder storm starting. I sit on the bed with him and we watch for a few minutes. I teach him to count the time between flash to thunder to see if its coming closer or going away. Now I hear from his room. 1.2.3.4.5. Next flash 1.2.3.4 daddy its getting closer. I love teaching my boy things and seeing his enthusiasm for it. Being a parent is so much fun.

Its the little things that you and your son/daughter cherish the most! Kids are awesome.......most of the time.

It was pretty cool but kinda short. Cant wait for the summer storms. Just might take my boy up to Horsetooth for a campout and watch them. I used to do it with my dad when I was a kid.

Must be coming my way. I opened the door to let the cat in, and I thought there must have been a tornado across the street!
