dry goods in buckets, w or w/o Mylar

I've seen thin and thick mylar liners. Thick are expensive, but do they work better? Or is it a matter of thicker film leading to pin holing easier when you stuff it in the bucket (bending the liner)?

This is my first post, and why isn't the cop car emoticon a Firebird instead of a Camaro?

The thicker liners are less prone to pin holing and the transmission rate for 02 is less as well.

If you look at Sorbants website you can see the results for the grades of Mylar as to puncture resistance and other specs.

And I am partial to Firebirds as well. one of mine.
