I'm new to the forum and new to the sport of AR-15 ownership/shooting. I've purchased a Colt Match Target Competition HBAR II in .223. The factory issue trigger group has a "less than desirable" trigger pull, both in pull weight and in smoothness.

Was hoping to get some advise on the best after-market triggers for replacing the factory issue trigger group. Plan to use the rifle for non-competitive paper target shooting at ranges from 100 yds to 400 yds. Will scope the rifle but not planning to set the gun us as a close combat weapon. Was thinking of a trigger pull in the 3lb - 4lb range. Currently considering Jewel, Timney and Jard triggers. Would like to receive any feedback available on those brands as well as any other brands that might exceed their performance and pricing.
