Default Is there a good way to mount optics on a A-2 at a 45 degree angle.

Anny way to get a Bushell 10x on a a-2 and keep the ironclean?

That's an odd one. I guess you could get a picatinny rail to add to the carry handle, then use a pair of off set rail additions to mount to the carry handle mount, then mount the scope, but that's a pretty unique setup.

If you don't mind, what are you trying to achieve here?

Get a picatinny rail that has the peer thru milled in it, cuts down on fov heavily though.

Might have one lying around. I'll look

    !Found it!

if you want it let me know - $10 sound good.

as for mounting something at 45deg off the top, if you have a railed forend it is posible to have a mount fabricated. the biggest issue that i see is that a scope will occupying a lot of space. If its to the right then it will interfere with the ejection port, if its to the left then it might get in the way of manipulating the weapon, depending on if you are left or right handed. Mounting something off the handle at 45deg would be difficult as the only way to clamp to the handle would be through the mount hole. Hence blocking the los for the irons.
