Anyone have a good suggestion for a decent monocular that will not break the bank? I'm looking for something to use in place of a spotting scope, as well as a good addition to my bug out bag. Thanks!

Ever consider getting a rangefinder with decent clarity/magnification?

I just ordered one of these. They are almost throw-away.
CDNN sells a monocular for about the same price as the one in that link, but it is 20x-50mm. It is only okay though. You have to have your eye perfectly centered or else it is difficult to see out of. Comes with a little tri-pod as well. I could make out .308 holes in paper at about 150 yards with mine. I've also read license plates and street signs from over a block away as well.
