Heck, he might've been the guy filling up his gas tanks with one of them. What kind of business is this? I'm guessing it isn't a restaurant or a construction site.

    Just to update:
Got my wife a new CCW permit and Jeffco was great and waived the $15 fee since both our accounts are frozen. Filed a police report with Wheat Ridge which was surprisingly great. The lady who took it seemed to care and actually chased us down when we left to ask a few more questions!! Also, went to the gas station where the first transaction took place but no video survailence, the thief probably has done this before and gone there for a reason. Atleast we have a timeline and next is walmart where I'll speak to the manager/s there. Wish me luck guys

Walmart won't release any videos to you unless it's requested by govt authority for liability reason. Even then, sometimes Walmart will fight releasing them. FYI

    Good luck!

I'm not to worried about the funds as I know they'll be returned to our accounts. I took the day off work so I'm going to make it worth my time to try as hard as I can to catch the bastard.

It's amazing I'm back at the bank and they have bought over $400 in gas and more than that in food and about $170 in car parts. I don't have exact addresses but I do have the name and area of the places.

Yes I spoke with WRPD about this and I can request a copy to be sent to them and to call them if need be when requesting it.

My former Metro area agency wasn't too busy and we took that type of crime seriously and tracked down the videos, tracked down suspects and made arrests. A L.E. buddy of mine from that agency was at the Colorado Springs zoo and a suspect stole his wife's wallet out of her purse on the child stroller and went on a spending spree. Colorado Springs PD was too busy to assist and told them to file a desk report, report it to their credit cards and the credit card companies would take care of it, reimburse, etc. While that may be eventually true, he wanted retribution and someone arrested!
My incident happened in Denver, so the DPD own the case. I talked to the detective assigned to it, and he just acted annoyed, wouldn't even discuss it. The bank covered my losses immediately, no money lost on my part, so his take was it was between the DPD and US Bank now, if the bank wanted to pursue it, which of course they didn't.

I filed a complaint with some "overseer" or whatever it's called with the Mayor's office, and I then got a call from some supervisor with the DPD. He was nice and sympathetic, etc., but basically explained they don't have the money or manpower to chase little things like this, they can't keep up with the major ones.

Really chaps my ass too, the dick sits right on the other side of the cubicle wall from me, and overheard me ordering some parts on the phone with my CC. This guy's main interests in life is chasing pussy, and keeping his money in his pocket. He feels sex is "an equal exchange of services", and that it shouldn't cost him any money to get laid. "She's getting as good or better than what he's getting". He also likes to drink wine.

    The attempted charges were with....
wine.com for a large wine order,
flowers.com for a large flower order,
moretolove.com which is a dating service to find beefy women (which he prefers, they're easy to bag),
skype.com to set up video conferencing accounts,
and cuddleworks.com which sells teddy bears and lingerie, gifts for women.

So I'm certain it was him. He also acted strange around me for months afterwards after the purchases were all shot down, like he was expecting trouble or impending doom, or a visit from the po-po.

The only people in the office when I bought my parts were me and him, and although the cube wall separates us visibly, we can hear each other fart. Overhearing and copying down my CC info wouldn't be hard. He also thinks I'm some kind of "rich old white guy" that should "help a brotha out" by showering him with "loans".

I contacted all the vendors, and they all refused to release anything to me without a request from the DPD on department letterhead, which of course the DPD just laughed at.

So, good luck to ya Opie!
