etiquette question NOOB
So cant find a thread anywhere else didnt want to start a new one either. What are all your thoughts on making offers on guns. I dont want to be rude or Mr Lowballer.
For example I bought a new M&P 9 Compact for right around $500 OTD at Tanner and a Holster from Dain for $60. I want a M&P 40 now but I see used ones sometimes posted for like $600 with a comparable holster, basically more than I can buy it for new. I feel like if I have to offer more than $50 less I am being offensive. In said scenario would you.
1) Ignore and wait for a price drop
2) Send you offer of whatever say $500 (vs $600 asking price)
3) Send you offer with an explanation of....going for new at XYZ dealer for $490 etc etc
I guess I feel if I am buying used I would expect to pay 10% less than retail and save the tax too for a sub 500rd good shape pistol, and not 10% less than the Gander Mt Price.
