That's probably the most believable situation in my mind.

Just posted this on my Facebook a little while ago...

There is still a war to fight and we still have a lot of ground to cover before we can call ourselves the victors, and we can't let ourselves, as a nation, be blinded by this event.

My thought is that no service is going to allow the other to take all the credit for that. Plus it is really common for JSOC personnel such as Force Recon, SEALs, Delta, and AF SOC to work together in all sorts of situations.

For instance the movie Black Hawk Down doesn't really go into detail about the AF SAR guys or SEALs that were present but they were also there during the fight.

My thought is also that an operation of that magnitude would not be successful without Special Operations and support from all branches

IWC encourages everyone to fly the "Stars and Stripes" tomorrow in honor of those fighting the war on terrorism, those who've paid the ultimate sacrifice and those victims murdered by Bin Laden on September 11, 2011, who are rejoicing in Heaven as they watch Bin Laden burn in hell!!!

As President GEORGE W BUSH said tonight, ""The fight against terror goes on, but tonight America has sent an unmistakable message: No matter how long it takes, justice will be done,"

THANK YOU to the US Special Forces involved in the operation to kill & retrieve Bin Laden in Pakistan.

What's the likelihood/possibility that this mission was carried out by a small team that's been undercover in the area for weeks/months, mingling with the locals? Just seems like a stretch to me to "send in" a team, he was a damn hard target to get close to.

But WTF do I know.....all I have is an imagination.
