    Default Diablo Predator tuner

Anyone here able to use a Predator to make a custom tune?
    '99 F-350 V-10, AT, 4x4.
I'm not real happy with the pre loaded tune.
    Thanks in advance!

I would stay away from Diablo or superchip. On the V-10, if you want instant power and increased miles/gallon - redo your downpipe and Y. Or do a full dual exhaust w/ an X. My experience is around 10-15 year old though - I haven't worked on diesel or gas since I got out of that business in 1996.

Has aftermarket Gibson exhaust, and K&N fipk cold air. Looking for more power, turn off top speed limiter, and maybe shift firmness adjustments. MPG a bonus, but don't believe I can get the cake and eat it too.
Used a Superchips cortex on the F-450 at work, and it worked pretty good...till the 6.0 powerjoke melted.

I allready have the Diablo, and it has 3 pre-loaded programs.
It states that I need a custom tune to shut off the top speed govenor, I'm just not comfortable trying to load one myself, engines are expensive.

The predators works the same like SCT I believe. Log your LTFT to get average percentage and add that to your MAF curve. Tada... mpg!

If you have an older diablo, there is an option to remove the limiter, the newer ones do not. 6.8 cannot go over 90mph due to the rear diff I believe. Sorry cannot be more helpful.

My mpg has averaged 11 for about 70k miles, last trip from NE, I'm gonna guess 5, but the trailer was heavy, and 35+ mph head winds.
It's been a great truck, and it only has 210k on it.
I'm more of a 4bbl and points guy, I guess I need to take it to a shop that can program it on a dyno.

I have a cortex on my cummins 6.7 and can't complain. Even with 35s I can get close to 20 even with the extreme setting. I've found economy mode does not really make a difference
