Default CCW and gym locker room etiquette?

    To the gym go-ers,

Just wondering what is common practice when going to the gym, especially if changing clothes in the locker room.

Do you leave your gun locked in the car?
Do you lock it in the gym locker?

Just wondering what the faux paux's are.
    Thanks in advance

Car-too many eyes in the gym to see the gun being put in the locker.
Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.

Lock it in the car. I've heard to many horror stories of peoples lockers being broken into.

Lifetime Fitness doesn't even allow them in the building. There is a sign on the front door, "NO FIREARMS ALLOWED ON PREMISES."

Yeah, I go to the Lifetime in Parker. Needless to say, if I wasn't worried about thievery, I wouldn't even notice their "No firearms allowed on premises" sign.

I actually e-mailed them about the nonsense of their "sign", never got a response. If it wasn't the cleanest club, with everything I need. I wouldn't be going there.

The gym I go to has a sign saying not to leave valuables in your car as there have been breakins.

I have not seen any restrictions on firearms in the building.

What I have been doing is putting my pistol in my gym bag then, depending on how crowded it is, when getting dressed either holster it or wait until I get back out in the car.

    Default fanny pack

I'm old, so carrying a fanny pack looks semi-normal - I've had the same pack for 10 years it doesn't look "tactical" at all.

I always ignore "no firearms" signs, always.

It's easy to spot fellow carryer's (sp) they always nervously glance around to see who's watching - TOTALLY violating the "no peek" etiquette of a typical gym.

I would also say car...just don't want anyone in the locker room to see it.

As for lifetime fitness, I think they are ridiculous...just sayin'
