You know the 5th of May is only really celebrated in one state of Mexico, and that it's only popular in the U.S.?

Sept 16th is their "Fourth of July".
Today is May 4th... "May the fourth be with you" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_Day

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Haw haw haw?..
Don't forget that it's my wife and I's 6th wedding anniversary!
...We were going to Vegas at the end of May for our ceremony and just needed to sign the paperwork locally first to make it official. It was just going to be a random date until I realized that it could be 5/5/05... and easy number for me to remember. The fact that it was actually Cinco De Mayo was an afterthought but we tell people it's so we can celebrate our heritage which gets a good luck with our Mexican friends since we're about as white as they come.
P.S. My US flag flies every day so this won't be anything different as far as that goes.

I know I will get crap for this!! But once I refered this day to a friend of mine as, " Crappy Stinko Shit Bayou"![]()
Didn't see a single Mexican flag today. At one point, I saw a guy wearing a white button up shirt (open) with a green undershirt, and I thought it was a Mexican flag. Phew, that was close.
