I've found Costa's in the Sedona area where they are little known but I don't see evidence that they breed there. Post breeding migrants I think.

In CV, on the north side

The spouse is the real watcher. Got her the book Birds of Arizona, Field Guide. Uses it daily to keep track of who's in the area, passing through etc.

When the costas show up they're a few. BUT being territorial. Since the chins were here first, who knows. I know you've seen it. But for those who haven't .
When they get in to a tussle it's nasty. AS in to the death a few times.

We tend to stay pretty stocked on the protein bars. Wife had just made a costco run before SHTF so we had two costco size boxes (more like cases) plus I tend to always grab a box or two every time i hit the store. One of hers did happen to be granola and not protein, but there's a lot of carbs in them so that's good for the situation if needed.

Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."

Yea I got the 96 count box and I'm glad i did. They make a satisfying morning meal with one crumbled over some yogurt and a banana.
