Good luck with that. I'm completely irrational with backorders. I refuse to buy something that's backordered because I always think I can find it elsewhere (and probably cheaper too, right?). So I look for awhile and never find it and then by the time I'm able to order it when it's "back in stock", it's probably actually been back in stock 5-6 times and was sent out to the backorder crowd and I never saw it. In reality, I could have probably gotten it 2-3 weeks after buying it on backorder.

Oh well. Trust me though, that's probably the least of my issues.

So what was the Stark picture about? Is the family from "Thrones" named Stark as well?

Yep, Starks. You should check out Game of Thrones, it's pretty awesome. I have heard the books are good too.

I have pmag backorders from Brownells and DSG, I am really in no hurry to get those but I have a few optics on backorder from Larue. They dont keep live inventory on their website so I had no idea they were on backorder. Why are optics on backorder anyway???? I guess the panic hit every aspect.

Yeah, GoT has been on the list. Anything medieval usually gets on my radar.

I've been surprised at what has been on backorder. I understand things like required to build an AR (LPKs, buffers, gas blocks) but things like certain magazines at 10 rds or less (factory 10-rd Ruger 10/22, really?), handgun guide rods, etc. It's not like those things are likely to be banned or are even high use items. Of course, buffer tubes aren't high use either, and I bought two tonight.

It's pretty damn ridiculous. ANYTHING AR related is gone or selling for 2 to 3x the price. God bless capitalism but who is buying this shit for so much $?
