I was about 11-12 and just remember seeing that damn streak starting to run up her leg. I honestly think that's one of the last times she cooked I was the cook, she worked 12's so I kept up the house and made meals.

Well, I've been a poker room manager/supervisor in Black Hawk for the past 8 years. Realtor before that. I'm thinking of getting back into Real Estate actually. (please don't puke..we are not all assholes) It's heating up. And I really liked that biz. Helping folks get the home they wanted was really a cool thing. Especially when it was their first home. Pretty cool to be a part of that.

Anyone need someone to deal their home game?

Im glad i had that responsibility looking back now. Got up, dressed and off to school. I would come home and vacuum, dust and cook, that way when she got home she could eat and sleep.

Though i don't have nearly the work ethic she does, i still know how to bust ass to get something done. I lived with my grandmother and mother. I was about 10 when my grandmother died so it was just her and I. That woman to this day has a work ethic that is probably only matched in the military.

My father wasn't there so she worked damn near 7 days a week to make it. If anyone here knows the medical field she was a "environmental services" at Mercy med center across from city park for 17 years then became a CNA.

She LOVES what she does and I'm glad but she still works at least 2 doubles a week even now. I nearly lost her in 05 and vowed that I would take care of her as well as she took care of me. She lives with my wife and always will.

Her example to me it why hearing a bs LIberal spout their entitlement crap damn near puts me in a rage. If only people would realize that most all problems stem from a person being lazy and not wanting to do the work to make their lives better, no it's always got to come the easy way.

Sorry probably way more info then was needed but it's kind if nice brining back those old memory's along with a lib rant throw. In for good measure

I'm a huge poker fan my wife and I have a suite at amaristar for our anniversary next month. I'm just itching to do some turnys. I got pretty good at 3 card poker too (even if it is like 42% odds on the player).

The housing markets coming back man it would be rough starting but I can see another bubble in the future. Especially if the Libs keep pushing the easing of credit restrictions again.

If I hear of anyone I will let you know. Also if you get me some cards I can hang them down at work.
