I've never made grits any other way, just boil them and add a little butter, salt, pepper. sometimes i'll fry up an egg or two and toss those in, runny yolks and all!

To make stoner01 even hungrier, ever made fried tomato sandwiches?
Slice tomatoes, dip slices in an egg bath (eggs, little milk, beat), dip in bread crumbs then fry in a shallow puddle of butter (couple tablespoons). Serve on bread, add a little salt and delicious! And after you run out of tomatoes, pour the eggs into the pan to fry them up, not only do they take on the fried tomato flavor, they also help clean the pan and are some of the tastiest eggs you'll ever eat!
