And with a very dear friend as company, it was.
At least he will be able to go the distance at Elk camp this year. Last year, his poor old dog was so sick, he stayed up all night with it and then drove back to town opening day. He had to put the old guy down a few months back, and while I'm certain he's still hurting, I believe they are both better for it.
