Hi bogie! What made you choose that over the Note?

I think it just came down to the extra $100 bucks - and the screen on the S4 is almost as nice in a smaller phone. The battery life on the Note is awesome though!

I'm not really a phone junkie.. I had my last phone for two years after I was eligible for an upgrade.

Good point, I also do not like the fact that I have to pay for ring tones, my favorite time of the year is Halloween and I can't even change them to scary sounds without paying for them.

My ringtone is a POS. I need to investigate something else. What happened to normal phone sounds anyway? I have to pay to get a traditional ringing sound???? I don't want some sports team anthem or a cheesy movie soundtrack.

The S4 has really good battery life too. I use a battery optimizer app that manages wifi/bluetooth/gps/etc and I can squeak out two days between a charge.

I have a ringtone maker on my computer that allows me to make it and then email it to myself. I get it on my phone and can then install it on my phone.
