They are, Belly, thanks. I tap every shell before decapping, to get any media out, and I have to look into every pocket to see if is has that little ring in there.
Not a bad habit but unless your running extreme dirty powder, its about as useless as trimming straight wall pistol cases. I load light but only use titegroup for 9/40/45/357 SIG.
I did load 500 rounds for a GSSF shoot a few years ago in .40 I was in a hurry and didn't do my usually pocket inspection. Afterwards I realized it and pulled one bullet and found media in the flash hole, all 499 fired without issue. The shoot was in Nebraska and I didn't have time to pull them or I would have.
