    Ah yes, the putting away of x-mas stuff.

    That's why I don't put lights up anymore, ......fun putting them up, but pita taking it all back down and storing it.

    Unfortunately that is not always an option, or one wanted, by one of the parties involved. I put a pic of the ex on a milk carton, left it on the table. That worked for awhile.
