Spent all day working on the 4runner. Good thing I don't earn my living as a mechanic. I would starve. Slowest in town.

I really appreciate the guys at the local Napa, they are pretty good at keeping me from screwing stuff up.

The repairs are usually not too bad, but diagnostics are difficult sometimes. Often have to pay my mechanic diagnostic fee.

The parts cost are always lower when I get him to do diagnosis. Imagine that.

He usually comments that he prefers me to do PM and light repairs because I tend to be pretty hard on my vehicles and it annoys him.

I tell him I prefer to do PM and light repairs cause I don't like the college his kid goes to that I pay for.
