I haven't even gotten her to shoot the AR yet, so I think it'll be safe. Keep trying to get her to shoot the AR to see how fun it is, but she is a little scared of it, don't know why, probably the size.

And thanks, I'm incredibly stoked! Can't wait until Tuesday to mount the scope rail, measure for rings, order rings, receive rings, install scope and take it to the range!

HA! Speaking of cans, I'm already considering saving for one. Although, I'll be moving by the end of the year and don't want to get it until I know I'll be stationary for at least 2 years (so I can pick it out and wait for the delay)

I do like to tinker. I can't afford any more hobbies!

I suppose I could relate reloading to me sharpening my knives. It's soothing.

    I'm eyeballing that REM already!

9mm Reloading Kit - Uses hammer, no press - $27.99

Just sayin', you can get into it REALLY cheap! All you'd need then is powder, primers and bullets.

    500x 115gr 9mm Bullets - $42.22
    http://www.xtremebullets.com/9mm-115...15rn-b0500.htm

Primers, get locally but 500 CCI Small Rifle Primers should set you back about $20.

Powder, get locally but 1lb of pistol powder should be about $25.

    You already have brass.

All said and done, thats about $115 to produce 500 rounds of 9mm. Which is about the cost you'd pay at Walmart.

Once the learning curve has leveled out, but be ever vigilant and not get complacent when reloading.

Exactly. You can never get complacent with reloading. I don't even have distractions like radio or TV in my room.
