Just sayin', you can get into it REALLY cheap! All you'd need then is powder, primers and bullets.
I had one of their 223 kits. Ended up sending it to a guy in Guam. You think reloading is pricey here.

Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.

Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."

One pound of pistol powder should last about 1400+ rounds.

Hey, I wasn't saying it was the most effective or efficient method, but if he truly wants to get into reloading but doesn't have money, that's a good option.

It was an interesting unit. very utilitarian and practical for backwoods, SHTF use. Anytime i looks at it, i pictured cowboys sitting over a fire pouring lead bullets. I gifted it to him as the decapping pin busted and he could not buy it w/out buying another kit. I acquired it in a deal for next to nothing, why not pass it on.
A prepper i know up north purchased one in 06. He uses the shit out of it.
