FWIW: any I-25 drivers heading north check the traffic report. 25 was down after a head on with 2 big rigs. N & S bound lanes are 6 lanes of traffic 8 lanes moving slow. SO take the back roads.

Managed to get the jetski's all cleaned up and pics taken for the sale. Neighbor stopped by asking about them so they may go to a good home.

Still have to finish sanding and polishing the gelcoat repairs I had to do on them. Damn my ski had a lot of major dings. Kind of pissed that one I paid a shop to do was done half-assed and needed a big touch up.
Hope stuff is great for you on the weekend, Man !

I got my letter from Colorado Bureau of Idiocy today, I'm happy about that....record cleared up, but I'll share some wording in from it with you guys....might shed a little light for anyone you may know of in the future that has this type of problem that I've had to endure again...this time around.

Whatever the wording you have a right restored, that should never been taken away.

This isn't the entirety of the letter, but there was some law change that happened within the last couple years that apparently turns OLD ass cases into a new status of some kind. Highlights are from me for the purposes of this post.

    Reads:

You were initially denied in 2013 (the Bushmaster AR platform 308) and again in 2014 (S&W M&P 40 Shield) for a conviction on your Colorado criminal history for Misdemeanor Assault on Police Officer. Under Colorado State Statute, the offense of Assault on a Police Officer carries an additional sentencing enhancer that would have prohibited you for the purchase and possession of a firearm.

Supplemental research has been conducted by the CBI and it has determined that the assault case was based upon a municipal code violation and was heard in Municipal Court only. As such, any potential sentence does not included the additional sentencing enhancer that would be needed to prohibit the purchase or possession of a firearm. And entry has been made on our database to reflect this information and this issue should not impede any future firearm purchases.

Sentencing enhancer? Um....evidently some people are seriously going to get hosed by the "enhancer".

I cleared my problem up with them at least 15 years ago, and it came back to haunt me a second time due to the "new statute". This stuff is getting pretty scary what "they" can do to you....for things now, or in the very distant past.

Amen, and praise the good Lord for that, Jim.
