If you think about it, it is mostly mindless, 1st world drivel that goes on around here.
Having never been in a real conflict theatre myself, I can almost see where Belly is coming from there.
Then again, when I rotated back to the world in 1984, there was no intarwebz to speak of. I think arpanet was still a closed system and all we had was a few dial-up BBS here and there you had to fight for time on.
