Seems odd not to use something universal.
I know right? and mine only came with 2 of the four screws... a little frustrating but it is on there pretty solid, so I'm not worried about it.

You can allways swap it out later down the road when you find something a bit better.Was that done by Ruger?? I would have thought they would have done a bit better.

Yeah, it's the official Ruger rail that comes with it. Also, once mounted, you can't use the iron sights any more.There are dozens of aftermarket rails with the correct spacing and with the center of the grooves cut out so you can still use the iron sights. Why won't Ruger catch on?

Yep. I work 2nd shift 2 nights a week, and 3rd shift 2 nights a week. When I work 2nd shift, I get home around 11:30pm. When I work 3rd shift, I don't get home until about 7:30am.
