I got off of work after only 8 hours today. Earliest I've gotten out in months! Long days suck, for sure. Especially when you just want to be with your family.

8 hours is like a half day for you recently.

Did the whole MRI thing tonight, guess I'll find out how ripped up my shoulder is next week sometime.

Hit my wrist with a sledge hammer today, that was awesome. Except for the pain at the impact point, I couldn't feel the rest of my hand for about an hour.

Yowser. That's like loosening an alt or p.s. belt , wrench slips off and 1 or 2 knuckles take the hit. Puts a damper in the day. Not to mention a few bandages, or toilet paper and electrical tape.

You trying to get that shoulder done asap, before it's warmer and you're laid up for the summer. Or put it off?

I think I'll try and schedule it around when the snow stops flyin', Jim, I've been putting it off for a year already. The boss has input on a cut date for sure, but we'll see.

I'm really only out of commission for four weeks, fairly useless for about eight, but it aint bad after that. I've already begun practicing the essentials with the off hand....comb hair, brush teeth, etc.
