Well, THAT was fun... Got about 3 inches of 1/2 inch hail. Saw a few bits that were closer to 3/4", but nothing bigger. Just a mile away, one of my friends sent me a picture of 1.25" hail... And a broken window.

Services for G'mom today were very tastefully done, a lot of work went into it from all my uncles and aunts (and spouses), and it paid off with how well everything went. I was proud to participate and help carry her to her final destination. I kept it together too, which was nice.

Interestingly enough, when the funeral procession arrived at the cemetery, the rain broke......and resumed when the services had been completed. Maybe she pulled a string or two for us? A friend of the family was there to play the bagpipe, and he did an awesome job. She was of Scottish decent.
