Looked at the Amazon reviews in store and it looked good enough. Got home and looked again and 60% of the reviews are 1 star.
I liked the HP Deskjet Mobile 100 that the insurance company gave me. It was small and extremely simple and worked all the time. Turns out it is also $199.99. Seems like a big expense for something I'll hardly every use, but I may have to do it. In the same boat, wife is letting me borrow her ultra tough camera; but the thing only has optical zoom. Going to end up dropping the coin for a decent camera as well. Sooner rather than later.

I got an officejet printer from Costco for less than $200 about 5 years ago and it still works great. It's got wireless, it prints double-sided, scans, and copies. (from memory, I think it was an OfficeJet 6700 or something along those lines.)
