"when you're happy you enjoy the melody but, when you're broken you understand the lyrics".
You asked for it...
I saw a facebook post a few days ago where a bunch of people surrounded some KKK members and nearly killed them. I don't know what the KKK members did before the video started rolling, but I did not see them behaving aggressively. They were attacked by a mob for wearing their KKK shirts. Look, internet: I don't care what other people say, YOU CANNOT INITIATE VIOLENCE AGAINST SOMEONE BECAUSE THEY SAID HURTFUL THINGS. I don't care if they say they hate you and you should deserve to die for being black or white or Asian etc.... Initiating violence is NEVER an appropriate response to somebody's words.
This, of course, was followed up by people threatening to kill me for "being racist and defending them".. I'm not a racist. I hate the KKK. But initiating violence against someone who expresses a different opinion is simply oppression. Sometimes individuals do it. Sometimes large governments do it. It is NEVER acceptable. If your ideas are better than theirs, you should be able to rationally and intelligently convince them to change their views.
