Wellllll, there's Olympics...then there's reality. Sucks to be real...but then, how does that make the people feel that DIDN'T medal? "Dude, WE SUCK!"
I've always thought that the center lane in track and pool events should always be reserved for a statistically average person, just to provide a little perspective to the race.
