Maybe bro this is a big desktop and I was puting it on by rag so I might switch to a brush to get the color right then throw a normal coat of poly on top.

I was so damn tired after I got the gutters on the garage and house cleaned out.....AND clearing some elms by the side of the garage.... I fell asleep.

The feeding event was successful, so that's cool. There were nothing but compliments from the employees who visited the serving room. I cut a lot of pie and cake and just tried to be useful in whatever manner was needed at the moment.

    Back to work tomorrow.......fuk.

FWIW, I used a quality Purdy oil brush. Gotta lay that stuff down. I may have done 2-3 coats also, whatever the directions said, don't recall.

But to do it right, yea, stain then whatever topcoat you want to use.

Am going to have to mow the lawn this weekend.

Kinda weird to be watering lawn while frying turkey this morning.

So I tell my wife I want her to carry a OTF because she likes knives anyway and it's somthing she can just keep in her hand when her she's walking or whatever. She is at work and sends a link to a Damascus bladed OTF that's $715......leave it to my wife. Won't happen but it's pretty I guess

Not near as much but..............I'm buying a few NIB kershaws from a neighborhood guy. Handing on of the spring assist knives i tell the wife. Check this knife out and see how smooth the action is. Click.... You're right that's a smooth blade as she walks off, kershaw now in her pocket.
It's been her daily carry since then. .
