Thanks. For trying to rush the floor out, it's still taking me what feels like a long time. I guess with 8 door ways and trying to go backwards and trying to see if I could incorporate old work it's not too bad. I will say though, that I should have followed the suggestion in the directions and not followed a brick pattern like I did. It would have been a much more efficient use of materials and an equal amount of measuring. It also might have been easier to keep the floor looking random. I feel like I keep getting down to where I have only a few pieces left, and they are all the same damn three!

I did laminate flooring in my Denver house down in the basement. I had no idea what I was doing, but learned some stuff in the process. Folks that have seen it said it looked good, and at the same time, if faced with doing again, I'd do it differently but not for any major reasons.....but rather the finer points if that makes much sense.

Absolutely. I learned a ton. It kind of sucks doing things, but not frequently, because then you forget most of what you learned the next time you go to do it. For example, I came up with a snazzy way to measure angled door trim using a quick clamp and speed square, but when it is a year between each time you do it, you don't remember until half way through.

She does a good job not eating things. We encourage her to chase squirrels, and only discourage her from chasing rabbits because she's yanking the leash whenever that happens. She's curious, but I can tell they work up her pray drive when they start scattering. They'll all be friends soon enough. As of right now, the dog can get closer them all than I can before they all start running.

There is a lot of truth to that, as well as the actual application of the foresight needed to anticipate challenging areas that might require any special technique.

It's not an FJ owner thing, it's a 4wd complex issue. "Oh, oh, oh, I have 4WD/AWD and I can drive like a fucking idiot in any weather, I'm invincible!"

Sadly, I think he was badly injured because DOT crews were holding his hand in the vehicle and talking to him, and after I was told my help was needed, I continued west and I saw a fire truck heading towards the accident at high speed, then a trooper, then an ambulance, then another trooper within 5-6 miles of each other.
