    New engine after getting the body back down on the frame with 2" spacers instead of the 3" I used first. That was why I had to redo the shifter linkage again. I've seen pics of other people doing a 7.3 swap like this, but they have the engine sitting way up high in the chassis...this one doesn't do that. The A/C bracket had to be moved up about 3" for the power steering pump pulley to clear the steering gear. The front most factory cross member had to be slimmed down on the drivers side by about 3" so the front of the oil pan would clear. I think that is the reason why others have theirs set so high in the chassis, because they didn't modify the cross member.

    New engine right before I moved the chassis back under the body....and that was a pain in the ass doing it by myself with a 2 ton floor jack. Grrrrr.

    The top of the fuel tower is approximately 5' up from the floor with the stock tires.
