Florida continues to reinforce my belief that the best way to publicly declare how white trash you are, is to buy some variant of a retired Crown Vic.

The panhandle's the panhandle. Only difference between the shithole Flourdough panhandle and the texas panhandle is the amount of water one has. Panhandle people are a different breed o folk. Stay in one a few days, not even weeks, and you'll see.

    Irving.

MIL is a snowbird and rents a place in Panama City Beach ~ 3/4 Mile inland.

What's the general state of affairs there if you know?

She likely has extensive damage. If you'd given me that info yesterday I could have driven by today and taken some pictures, but now I'm looking at claims where either the ceiling collapsed and let water into the entire house, or a supplemental tornado came through and knocked some walls down. So, suffice it to say that I have very little time for sure activity. Send the address in a PM and I'll see if I can't drive by, but don't rely on me to be your only source of info and don't hold your breath in case I can't get to it. That said, while most of Panama City is fucked, I did indirect a house that had power with the A/C running and everything. It tore the roof off the garage and dropped all the drywall in the car parked inside, but it was nice and cool in the living quarters. Every video and picture I've posted this far is from Panama City, but there are several sub-neighborhoods with varying degrees of damage. The hurricane and off-shoot tornadoes essentially went across Tyndall AFB and right up Hwy 231.

I don't have time at all to be talking to you. Here are today's photos.

    Four Winds indeed.

It was difficult to get a clear video of me screaming "Waaas Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup!" in this frog's face, so here is just a picture instead.

Some counties are on a boil notice, but I'm not sure why.

This dog was trapped under this deck and barking and crying for hours. Finally I got so irritated I was like, "Sorry ma'am, no coverage!" and just left.

Just kidding. That dog was just hanging out and at some point it crawled under there and laid down while I was taking picture of the smashed deck rail. I'm not a monster. I would have at least checked to see if there weren't any trapped frogs or snakes under there before I left.
